Frank plays Jimmy Stevens, an energy company whistleblower who hires a private eye (Elliot Gould) to protect him from killers and tell his story. Laura Harring plays his jazz singer ex-girlfriend. The independent feature is produced by Linda Moran and Rene Bastian for Belladonna Productions from a screenplay by Alan Didier-Weill and Richard Ledes.

a horror film based on Richard Matheson's short story, "Button, Button." Frank will play a stranger who presents a mysterious box to a woman. She's told certain things will happen depending on which buttons she presses. The movie will begin shooting in mid-November, after Frank wraps the film version of "Frost/Nixon". To be helmed by "Donnie Darko" director Richard Kelly, the $30 million film will co-star "There's Something About Mary" and "Vanilla Sky" actress Cameron Diaz.
